SEO for Ericool Aircon & Engineering Pte Ltd

Ericool Aircon & Engineering Pte Ltd is an established Singapore air conditioner company set up in year 1996.
Search engines are their main leads generation channel as they were getting good response from placing ads on Google and Yahoo.

They were puzzled by the fact that although they are an established company set up in 1996, their website was nowhere to be found on the Google and Yahoo natural search result listings for keywords such as aircon, aircon servicing, aircon repair, etc.

Other than search engine advertisements, they wanted their website to rank higher in the natural search results and get clicks for free.

With this in mind, they engaged the help of OOm in SEO (search engine optimization). 

The Challenge

After an initial analysis, we found out that no SEO effort has been done on the site and this explained why their website was not appearing at the top of natural search results listing.

The design of the website was also outdated, which made it difficult for Ericool to attract corporate clients (client specifically mentioned that they hoped their site can attract more commercial enquires).

The Strategy

We revamped the website and made it more “corporate-looking” and professional.

We conducted a keyword research and identified a set of keywords that have high commercial intent such as aircon servicing and repair.

We then moved on to edit the website content to increase its relevance to the keywords we were targeting. Since the success and popularity of a search engine is determined by its ability to produce the most relevant results to any given search, it makes sense that Content Relevance is the most important factor that search engines take into account when they rank websites.

Website promotion was also done to increase the number of inbound links to the website, which is also another important factor when it comes to ranking websites.
