About the Role
In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of off-page SEO, particularly link building strategies. You will be responsible for developing and executing link building campaigns, maintaining relationships with link vendors, and ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our link building efforts. Job Description
As an SEO Specialist (Link Building) at OOm, your primary responsibility is to improve our clients’ online presence through effective link building strategies. You will achieve this through:
- Maintaining the Link Building Masterlist
- Regularly update the masterlist with the latest link building data.
- Ensure the masterlist is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Provide monthly link building tracking reports by each campaign level to finance.
- Ensuring Budget Compliance
- Track Work-In-Progress (WIP) campaigns to ensure they are within budget.
- Provide monthly reports on link building expenditures and ensure no campaign exceeds its budget.
- Finance Coordination
- Send payment requests to finance for link vendor payments upon fulfillment.
- Ensure all link orders have corresponding invoices and are processed for payment on time.
- Prepare and send monthly link building accrual reports for unbilled links to finance by the end of each month.
- Competitive Analysis
- Conduct competitive backlink analysis to identify link opportunities and strategies.
- Monitor competitors’ link building activities and strategies to stay ahead.
- Content Collaboration
- Work closely with the content team to develop link-worthy content.
- Identify and suggest content ideas that have the potential to attract high-quality backlinks.
- Outreach and Relationship Building
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to build relationships with bloggers, influencers, and webmasters.
- Use email outreach, social media, and other methods to secure backlinks from authoritative sites.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track the performance of link building campaigns using tools like Ahrefs, Moz, and SEMrush.
- Analyse the impact of acquired links on organic traffic and rankings.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare detailed reports on link building activities and performance for clients and internal teams.
- Use data to refine and improve link building strategies.
- Tool Management
- Stay updated with the latest link building tools and technologies.
- Manage and utilise tools effectively to streamline link building processes.
- Guest Posting and PR
- Identify opportunities for guest posting on reputable websites.
- Collaborate with PR teams to gain exposure and links from high-authority sites.
- Training and Development
- Provide training and support to junior team members on link building best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO and link building trends and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in link building for the APAC market or a keen understanding of it.
- Ability to work independently and handle a high volume of assignments.
