Welcome to OOm\u2019s Terms and Conditions. This website, domain name, and any related digital platforms (“Site”) are owned and operated by OOm, under Company Registration No. UEN 200617554M. These terms and conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, collectively referred to as “Terms,” outline the terms of use for this Site and the services provided by OOm (“Services”). By accessing this Site, enrolling in our WSQ-certified courses, and engaging with our Services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. Additional terms may apply in certain situations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

1. Course Requirements<\/b><\/b><\/p>

Learners must attain a <\/span>minimum attendance rate of 75%<\/span> <\/b>and demonstrate competence in all assessment components. Failure to meet these attendance and assessment criteria, as well as the terms and conditions of SSG funding, will render the learner ineligible for course fee funding, and the learner has to assume full responsibility for the entire course fees. Do note that a 75% attendance rate is a prerequisite for taking the Final Assessment.<\/span><\/p>

2. Registration Fee<\/b><\/p>

Upon signing up for a course, a non-refundable registration fee of $10.90 will be collected. This fee is mandatory for enrollment and serves to secure your position in the course.<\/span><\/p>

3.<\/strong> Course\u00a0Fulfillment and Extension<\/strong><\/p>

Learners are required to complete all enrolled courses within a 3-month timeframe. Request for extension is subject to approval and the submission of a valid reason.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

4. Rescheduling of Confirmed Enrolments<\/strong><\/b><\/b><\/p>

To reschedule a confirmed enrolment, learners must email ops@oom.com.sg<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/a>with the relevant supporting documents at least\u00a0seven (7) days before the course start date<\/strong>. The\u00a0administrative fee will be waived for the first reschedule request<\/strong><\/span>, while\u00a0subsequent reschedule requests will incur an administrative fee of S$100 per request<\/strong><\/span>. Learners who wish to rescheduled\u00a0their course more than ninety (90) days from the date of registration<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>will also be subjected to an\u00a0administrative fee of S$100 per request<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

5. Withdrawal\/Cancellation & Refund Policy<\/b><\/p>

<\/b>To cancel or withdraw from your course, please send your request to\u00a0<\/span>ops@oom.com.sg<\/span><\/a>\u00a0along with valid supporting documents before the course start date.\u00a0<\/span>In the absence of a written request submitted via email with the necessary supporting documents,<\/span>\u00a0learners will be designated as no-shows and will be responsible for covering the entire course fees.<\/span><\/p>

Refunds for the balance payable after applying the SkillsFuture subsidy will be issued according to the timeline of the written withdrawal notice received, as detailed below:<\/p>

Important Notes:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Refunds are based on the original enrolment date only.<\/li>
  • Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to be processed after we have received your withdrawal request along with the required supporting documents.<\/li><\/ul>

    In the event of a <\/span>no-show<\/b><\/span>, learners are required to cancel their SkillsFuture Credits claim prior to the course commencement. Please note that course fees paid are non-refundable. Requests for appeals, supported by valid reasons and documentation, will be subject to individual review and require management approval.<\/span><\/p>

    Our Terms and Conditions are fully aligned with prevailing PSEA and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) policies and guidelines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    6. Subsidy Utilisation<\/strong><\/p>

    For individuals utilising subsidies to offset course fees, it is crucial to stay informed about the expiry dates and terms and conditions associated with the subsidy. In the event of payment shortfall, learners are responsible for arranging alternative payment methods to cover the outstanding amount to avoid any disruptions in your learning journey.<\/p>

    7. Class Size<\/b><\/p>

    Our classes are designed with a maximum capacity to ensure optimal learning experiences. However, there may be instances where this limit is exceeded to accommodate learners attending make-up lessons.<\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    8. Reassessment<\/b><\/p>

    In the event that a learner fails the assessment, one retake is permitted, subject to <\/span>a fee of S$109.00 (inclusive of GST)<\/span><\/b>. The retake must be completed <\/span>within <\/b><\/span>7 calendar days<\/b><\/span> from the course end date. If the participant does not pass the retake, they will be responsible for covering the entire course fee, as government funding does not apply to participants who fail the retake.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    9. Course Registration Validity<\/strong><\/b><\/p>

    All course registrations must be completed and attended within ninety (90) days from the date of registration<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span>Failure to attend the course within this period will result in the forfeiture of all course fees paid<\/span>.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>

    10. Other Terms<\/b><\/p>

    <\/b>OOm reserves the right to cancel, postpone and change the venue or mode of the courses in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Notification will be provided to learners within a reasonable timeframe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    11. Privacy Policy<\/b><\/p>

    <\/b>OOm has the authority to use the data provided for processing learners’ course registrations, in compliance with the guidelines outlined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
