It’s the time of the week again where we are featuring one dedicated employee of OOm. For today’s feature, we are sitting down with a ray of sunshine that brings positivity and cheery vibes into the office – Angelica Landicho!
1. Please describe your role at OOm.
I am a Link Builder at OOm. I am primarily responsible for building high-quality links in terms of off-site activities. Most of the time, I post blogs and convert them into slide presentations. As part of the SEO team, our ultimate goal is to promote and increase the rankings of a website, at the same time.
2. How do you prepare for the workday?
I am listing down all the task that needs to be done for that day because things can easily slip off my mind. Haha! Consider it as my way of not forgetting important to-dos for the day. It’s convenient for me to accomplish all my tasks when I am writing them down.
3. What do you find most fulfilling in your job?
I think the most fulfilling part of my job is when the accounts we’re handling are ranking high. I feel that I am part of the success. I also find it really satisfying to know when some of the accounts are not on the critical stage (ICU, as we call it) anymore. There’s a part of me that wants to celebrate. Haha!
4. What are your greatest professional strengths?
I consider my organisational skills as my greatest professional strength. Whenever there are tasks assigned to me, I make sure that I add them to my to-do list so I can give my best to accomplish them on time.
5. If you’re not in digital marketing, what else would you be doing as a professional?
To be honest, it’s also the question I’d like to ask myself. Haha! I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, so if I’m not with OOm today, it’s more likely that I am an IT Professional. After all, I also enjoyed the four years I spent learning to programme in college, even though programming didn’t like me – and it breaks my heart.
6. What’s the most embarrassing thing you did in your life?
There are many things popping in my mind right now. HAHAHA! But, I think I am so embarrassed when I tried to run like a ninja. Because I am so fond of Naruto, I really thought that it was a cool thing to do. I try not to laugh when I am imagining myself doing it when I was a kid.
7. If it’s your last day on earth, what’s the most selfless thing would you do?
Thank you for that wonderful question. Haha! I felt that I am a beauty queen for a moment.
It’s really a hard question to answer. But, the first thing coming in my mind is to request a eulogy from everyone that I love. I think it would be very cool to hear all the thoughts of someone while I’m still here and alive. What would be the sense of a eulogy if you’ll not hear it personally? Haha!
8. If you could be another person today, who would you be and why?
If I could be another person, I would like to be the richest man in the world. I plan to get all the money and give it to my fellow Filipinos. Haha!
9. How do you measure success?
I believe that when you are happy and contented in your life, you are already successful. Money is not the only basis in measuring success. There are people who are penniless yet satisfied and know the true value of life.
10. What do you love best about working for OOm?
The comfortable environment at the office. All the people are easy to get along with and are very welcoming. I can say that in the past six months of being here, I’m really, really attached to them.
I am delighted that I can express my feelings and can say my thoughts without hesitation. Also, the most important thing is they allow us to play music. Haha! It’s my motivation while working. I can’t imagine life without music.
That’s it for our cheerful Link Builder! Did you notice how many times she said haha? Here’s a secret: we already deleted some of them but they’re just one too many!
I hope you enjoyed our today’s feature on Look Who’s Talking. Be sure to watch out for more!
