In this segment of “Look Who’s Talking”, OOm Singapore proudly presents one of the team’s newest members, Kristal Tai! Her passion and dedication in the workplace are almost unrivaled, making her one of the driving forces of our Search Engine Marketing team. Without further ado, we welcome one of OOm’s campaign strategists, Kristal Tai!
I’m a paid performance specialist and I look after our clients’ Google & Facebook ads. I handle everything from campaign strategising, set-up, implementation & optimisation.
I’m a geek at heart. I love going into my accounts and looking at the numbers. When my campaign optimisations helped to improve client’s campaign performance, it makes my work fulfilling and I get motivated to do more for my clients.
Being a bridge between our clients and digital marketing, and ultimately helping them reach their business objectives with our tailored solutions in SEM.
If I can set up another branch of OOm I would love to create an outlet near the beach at Bali or Phuket so I can lead a full time mahalo beach life during the weekends.
If the world is ending in 3 days I will eat as much good food as I can because there’s no point in looking good anymore I’ll just want to feel good.
My family says that I’m a sloth because of how much I sleep but spiritually I actually relate more to a penguin. I love the fact that penguins only have one partner and they mate for life.
Ip Man. I would love to learn martial arts (Wing Chun) from the grandmaster and take down 10 enemies at one go. Looking lean and fit would be a major plus point too. (P.S. first one is the best out of the 3 movies)
If I can have a mentor in life, I would love to have Tony Stark as my mentor because I love him 3000.
I took on a part-time administrative role at a tuition centre when I was 18 years old and I made a mistake during the job. My in-charge then pulled me aside and told me “Kristal, next time when you’re doing a task and if you are unclear about anything, please ask. I would rather you ask and clarify rather than assume and get things done wrong.”
Before this, I was always afraid of asking questions in fear that I would bother my superior, but now I’ve learnt to be more vocal about anything I’m unsure of to prevent any mistakes and it creates learning points for myself as well.
This is my first full-time job since I graduated in 2018. I must say I’m super thankful for the guidance and opportunities OOm has provided. From all the daily laughs and friendships built since I started a year ago, the people and culture are what I love most about OOm.
