Our optimization team did thorough analysis of their website and discovered that the original landing page was too cluttered and there were too many distractions. There were was no special promotion and call to action to entice people to order.
We created a new landing page to highlight promotions to entice more people to order and directed all SEM traffic to the new landing page. We measured conversions with Google Analytics and used A/B testing to continuously tweak the landing pages to further improve conversion rate.
