Singapore – April 2019. On its first time joining Marketing Magazine’s Agency of the Year Awards 2019, OOm is nominated on two categories: Independent Agency of the Year and Search Marketing Agency of the Year. The award show recognises all agencies in Singapore, and across other parts of Asia, that showed prowess in the advertising and marketing industry. Their case study showcased the success and improvement that the company has reached in 2018 and how it will lead up to a more promising future of OOm.
OOm has been acknowledged by various award shows in the last year, but being a candidate to be the best Independent Agency in Singapore makes a big difference. Ian Cheow, OOm Co-Founder and Business Director, has this to say about their Independent Agency of the Year nomination, “being nominated for the Independent Agency is an honour and it shows the tenacity of the organization to challenge for the top and flying the independent flag high in Singapore!” For 13 years, OOm has evolved from a small, start up company to a full digital marketing agency with offices in Singapore and in the Philippines. They cater not only SEO and SEM services but also social media marketing and digital creative.
On the other hand, Wyvan Xu, Co-Founder and Business Director, also see a promise in being named as the Search Marketing Agency of the Year, pointing out that “search has came a long way and has evolved greatly over the last few years. This nomination is a recognition that OOm is ahead of how to garner the best returns from this channel. It’s important for the company and the team that we are heading towards the right direction to further enhance the results for our clients.”
There are 21 categories in this year’s competition covering various niche in the marketing scene such as media, mobile, social media, PR, event, creative, content marketing, search, and programmatic advertising. Also introducing this year are 3 new categories which spiced up the competition namely Experintial Marketing Agency of the Year, Full Service Agency of the Year, and Independent Agency of the Year.
Judged by a high-calibre group of marketers from various companies, such as A&W Restaurants International, American Express, Domino’s Pizza Malaysia & Singapore, foodpanda, Huawei, Lazada Singapore, and DirectAsia Insurance, each category will present winners for Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Another accolade will be given to the highest performing local agencies in each shortlist dubbed as the Local Hero trophy.
