OOm Singapore nabbed Silver at the MARKies Awards Singapore

Posted by

During the recently concluded MARKies Awards in SingaporeOOm, one of the leading digital marketing service providers in Singapore, won Silver under the category “Best Use of Search”. The winning case study entitled “Beating the Competition: Increasing Conversions through Systematic Search Strategies” exhibits the series of marketing campaigns done by OOm for Rentokil Singapore.

Best Use of Search is a new category at the MARKies Awards. This category aims to illustrate the innovative and effective use of Search and how it is used to assist the brand in achieving its marketing objectives. The entries were judged based on the brief set by the client (Challenge), creative strategies and rationale (Strategy), and the elements used to resolve the challenge (Execution).

The rigorous SEM campaign for Rentokil, which ran from January to December 2017, demonstrates a strategic approach in utilising search to meet, and exceed, the client’s requirements – to increase the number of Leads with the same budget, and to reduce the overall Cost per Acquisition from search campaigns. The team used segmented strategies to increase the Conversion Rate while lowering the Cost per Acquisition for 12 consecutive months.

Rentokil Singapore shared the same sentiment as MARKies in recognising the remarkable work that OOm has brought to the company. Junie Yeo, Marketing Director of Rentokil Singapore Initial Singapore Pte Ltd, shared that “the team at OOm has showed great account management support, particularly in the digital space where competition is running 24/7, the team’s responsive and speedy execution of paid search initiatives and rectification vs competitors is impressive.”

Yeo continued that “Credible and solid technical knowledge, the team is able to strategise effective and cost-friendly campaigns to not only dominate impressions, accelerate conversions but to counter-attack the harsh competition battlefield.”

With much appreciation for the accolade, Ian Cheow, CEO and Co-Founder of OOm, extends his gratitude for being recognised as one of the bests in the industry. He noted, “we are very happy to win silver for Best Use of Search, with more than 400 entries for this year MARKies Award. We would like to thank our client, Rentokil Singapore, for the opportunity to work on the campaigns and we will strive for great height next year!”

Wyvan Xu, Business Director and Co-Founder of OOm, expresses how the company value each client and campaign with the help of the entire team, “At OOm, we strive to achieve the best out of each campaign that we create for our clients. The seamless process of conceptualising strategies, to planning the execution, and having collaborative analysis from the entire team allows us to always outdo our performance.”
