Last Friday, the OOm office got a little spookier as we celebrated OOmween 2026! From creative Halloween costumes and guessing games to a giant jigsaw puzzle challenge, the afternoon was filled with friendly competition, laughter and plenty of memorable moments.

Costumes, Games and Plenty of Laughs
Our colleagues certainly came prepared for Halloween, with everyone bringing their own creativity to the costume competition. From familiar characters to more unexpected outfits, there was no shortage of ideas on display.
The fun continued with games like Guess the Song and Who’s the Boo, where teams put their guessing skills to the test. There were some confident answers, a few unexpected guesses and plenty of laughter along the way.
We also had our costume awards, recognising the creativity and effort that went into this year’s outfits. Congratulations to all our winners!
The afternoon was also made a little more special as we celebrated two birthdays with our colleagues! It was another lovely moment to come together, share some birthday cheer and make the celebration even more memorable.
Putting Teamwork to the Test
One of the highlights of the afternoon was our cross-department jigsaw puzzle challenge.
Colleagues were split into 10 mixed teams, bringing together people from different departments. Each team worked on a section of the puzzle, with everyone contributing a few pieces towards the bigger picture.
Once all the sections were ready, Ian brought them together to complete the final puzzle.
It was a simple but fun way to get everyone working with colleagues they might not usually collaborate with. Different teams, different strengths, but one shared goal.
More Than Just a Halloween Celebration
At OOm, we believe that a strong team is built not just through the work we do, but also through the relationships we develop along the way.
Events like OOmoween give everyone a chance to connect outside their usual roles, get to know colleagues from other departments and simply enjoy spending time together.
