Look Who’s Talking: Kathlene Ann Go

Here at OOm, you’ll meet all kinds of people. Introverts, extroverts, timid, outspoken—you’ll see that the OOm family houses a diverse range of individuals.

Kathlene Ann Go, also known as Kei, is one of those people that might catch your interest. Don’t let her fool you though: she may be shy at first, but her passion for things unknown is enough to leave you wondering more about her personality!

Let’s give a warm welcome to Kei, one of OOm’s newest members of the Content Marketing department!

Describe your role in OOm

As a writer at OOm, I am writing articles about various things, mostly,  people’s interests. Every day I am learning new things about different cultures, beliefs, and norms of one industry to another. With all that information, I am learning new things about myself that I did not know before.

What is your most valuable skill?

That would be curiosity.  When I am curious about a particular thing, I always try my best to learn about what it is. My curiousness helps me think differently and form new ideas.

What is one weakness you wish to improve?

My ability to overthink things. Sometimes, it overwhelms me, making me unable to progress with what I want to do. That’s what I want to improve so that I would not get frustrated a lot.

What is your favourite part about working at OOm?

That would be the people. Despite our differences, we all work together as a team. Perhaps this is possible because our bosses showed us the value to share our thoughts. They respect every opinion and ensure everyone gets a chance to speak their voice.

What is a trait that you find the most important in a person?

I think being respectful is the most valuable trait of a person. If you are courteous to a person, they will respect you too.

Name one track or album that represents your personality

‘Here Comes the Sun’ represents most of my personality because I always try to look at the greener side of the grass. I do not want my negative vibes to affect my day and the people around me.

If you could meet one famous public figure or celebrity, who would it be and why?

That would be Joan of Arc. I want to ask her about her battles and how she won all of them. Also, was she happy winning those battles?

If you could travel back in time, where and when would you go, and why?

That would be before my grandmother passed away. I wished I could see and listen to hear the story one last time.

What is your favourite book and why?

My favourite book is All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. That book gives me so much hope during the dark times of my life.

What do you love about OOm?

Again, that would be the people. They are good people that all companies would ask for.
