    What is Digitalisation of TACs (Digi-TAC)

    Unlock limitless growth with Digitalisation of Trade Associations and Chambers (Digi-TAC), brought to you by Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and SGTech! Here’s how you can stay ahead of the curve by embracing the digital age to set your business up for continued success.

    Digi-TAC assists TACs in two ways:
    1. Adopting digital solutions to enhance and elevate capabilities in key corporate functions
    2. Developing the digital foundation of TAC secretariat staff to empower them to support their industries and members effectively

    To help TACs transition smoothly into digitalisation, a curated list of pre-approved digital solutions and training courses that were rigorously evaluated for market viability, cost-effectiveness and vendor reliability, is available to choose from. Eligible TACs can tap into Digi-TAC’s funding to help with the costs of these solutions, making the digital transition seamless.

      Digi-TAC’s 3 Year Programme with $60,000 Funding

      TACs that meet the eligibility criteria can submit their application to participate in the Digi-TAC programme by 31 July 2025. The applications will undergo a thorough evaluation process and are subject to approval.

      Each participating TAC will receive a grant amount of $60,000 over the three-year programme period, with an annual grant cap of $30,000 per programme year. The annual grant cap will reset at the start of each subsequent programme year, which falls on 1 August.

      Eligibility Criteria for Digi-TAC Programme

      Apply for Digi-TAC today if your business meets the following eligibility criteria:

      • Is a Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce registered with the Registry of Societies or ACRA
      • Represents the business interests of a trade(s) or industry sector(s) whose members are operating in or from Singapore
      • Has a Management Committee, Board or Council overseeing the activities of the TAC
      • Has a physical office located in a commercial building or a comparable establishment within Singapore and operates there on a full-time basis, with a local telephone number
      • Has a minimum of three full-time salaried employees working in the TAC
      • Has a minimum of 50 members with at least 75% of them being SMEs
      • Has not obtained other funding from government agencies for a similar project
      • Has not upgraded equipment and/or implemented solutions to enhance digital capabilities within the past 3 years

      Here are some frequently asked questions regarding Digi-TAC.

      Eligible TACs can apply to participate in Digi-TAC from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2025.

      A grant amount of $60,000 will be allocated to eligible TACs throughout the three-year programme period, with an annual grant cap of $30,000 per programme year. Eligible TACs will have their annual grant cap refreshed at the start of the next programme year (1 August of every year).

      You will need to submit the following supporting documents to help SBF verify the information you have furnished:
      – Registration document from ACRA’s Bizfile
      – Organisation chart
      – List of board/council or management committee members
      – A report showing your TAC’s membership size and the % of members who are SMEs (As of the date of application)
      – Vendor’s proposal and quotation for the digital solutions you are considering adopting
      – Course brochure showing the course outline, fee and duration

      TACs can apply for the Digi-TAC solutions more than once but take note that it has to be for a solution that has not been applied and completed before. It is also possible to apply for different packages offered by a vendor concurrently.
