What is the Productivity Solution Grant (PSG)?

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) was established as part of Singapore’s economic transformation plan to position the country as a leader in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Assisting businesses and organisations in implementing technology solutions and equipment to improve their operations is at the core of the PSG grant.


Small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from various industries such as food, engineering, logistics, retail and eCommerce are covered under sector-specific solutions to encourage the adoption of IT solutions, equipment and consultancy services.

    The PSG grant will now be expanded to include digital marketing solutions from October 2021. Its goal is to assist businesses in developing their digital marketing strategy, including content creation, digital marketing campaign execution, building an online customer base, and drawing more people to their brick-and-mortar locations.


    Businesses can tap on the funds to obtain additional support in building an online presence, which is especially important as the Covid-19 pandemic speeds the migration to all things digital.

    PSG Eligibility Criteria For SMEs

    Purchase/lease/subscription of the IT solutions or equipment will be used in Singapore

    A minimum of 30% local shareholding; with Company's Group annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million, OR employee size of not more than 200 workers (for selected solutions only)

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Here are some frequently asked questions regarding Digital Marketing Productivity Solution Grant (PSG).

     

    Yes, employers eligible for SFEC will receive a one-off S$10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses on qualifying costs for supportable initiatives, including PSG.
    The eligibility for SFEC are as follows:

    • SME has contributed at least S$750 Skills Development Levy over the qualifying period
    • SME has employed at least three Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents(PRs) every month over the same period
    • SME has not been qualified for SFEC beforehand

    Yes. The support for Productivity Solutions Grant is still available, and SMEs can receive 70% (80% for Food Services and Retail sectors) until 31 March 2023. These percentages of funding support are enhanced grant support levels that have been extended for a limited time due to the exceptional disruptions caused by COVID-19 to promote the digital transformation of the economy and aid enterprises in overcoming the pandemic.

     

    Starting 1 April 2023 and onwards, SMEs who will apply for the PSG grant can expect to receive 50% funding support for their chosen solutions.

    • A purchase order
    • A bank statement indicating payment to the pre-approved vendor
    • The license number of IT solutions (with an indication of at least 1 month’s usage)
    • An invoice
    • A screenshot of your business’ name with the name of the IT solution

    Claims can only be submitted after the solutions have been fully deployed and payment has been made for the services.

    • Visit GoBusiness Gov Assist and log in with your corppass to submit documents of your business utilising the solution for at least one month.
    • Claims will be processed by Enterprise Singapore within 4-6 weeks from the submission of all required documents.
    • Disbursement of claims for PSG will be credited directly to the company’s bank account through GIRO.
    • An email will be sent to the email address stated on the Business Grants Portal (BGP) to confirm the transaction.

    Each SME can apply for more than one PSG. However, support can only be extended for one package per solution category and per deployment location.
