In a significant stride towards fostering a strong commitment to National Service (NS) and Total Defence, OOm Singapore has been honoured with the prestigious NS Mark (Gold) Certification. The certification was presented in recognition of OOm’s efforts to formalise schemes that enable employees to fulfil their NS duties.

Recognising Excellence With the NS Mark Accreditation

Established in 2016, the NS Mark is a national-level accreditation scheme that acknowledges businesses and organisations demonstrating policies and human resource practices backing NS and Total Defence. The Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD), formed by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) in January 1984, played a pivotal role in developing the accreditation scheme. 

The accreditation comprises two tiers – NS Mark and NS Mark (Gold). Businesses endorsing the Declaration of Support for NS and Total Defence can receive the NS Mark. OOm’s attainment of the NS Mark (Gold) signifies an elevated level of support, exemplifying the company’s dedication to valuing the importance of NS and Total Defence in fostering Singapore’s stability and prosperity.
