Digitalisation is an undeniable factor for business growth. In order to support Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) in going digital, the Digitalisation of TACs (Digi-TAC) Programme has been jointly launched by Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and SGTech. As the initiative unveiled, OOm is proud to become a Pre-Approved Digital Marketing Solutions Vendor for the programme.
“Going digital can be a huge commitment and sometimes, the time and resources invested may not always reap rewards. OOm is well aware that preliminary steps can contribute to the long-term merits of digitalisation. Therefore, we will do our best to ensure TACs’ success in the digitalisation journey.” Said Ian Cheow, the CEO and Co-founder of OOm.
Wyvan Xu, the COO and Co-founder of OOm also commented “Since 2006, OOm has been servicing in the digital marketing industry. As the sector evolves, we are also pursuing greater aspirations beyond business transformation. With this in mind, we are ready to support TACs in accomplishing their goals as a Pre-Approved Digital Marketing Solutions Vendor for Digi-TAC.”
Digi-TAC programme overview
In general, Digi-TAC will support TACs in two areas:
- Adoption of digital solutions to improve and boost capabilities in key corporate functions; and;
- Training of TAC secretariat staff to equip them with foundational digital capabilities to enable them to support their respective industries and members.
To ease digitalisation for TACs, there will be pre-approved solutions and training courses curated, alongside with provision of grants. Backed by reliable vendors like OOm, the solutions are assessed to be market-proven and cost-effective. The programme provides funding support for TACs to offset the costs of adopting these pre-approved digital solutions and training courses, up to a prevailing grant cap per TAC.
Programme Period and Funding Support
Digi-TAC programme is supported by Enterprise Singapore. Eligible TACs can submit their application from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2025, subject to approval. The grant amount set aside for each TAC totals $60,000 throughout the three-year programme, with an annual grant cap of $30,000 per programme year. Eligible TACs will have their annual grant cap refreshed at the start of the next programme year (1 August of every year). In addition, 70% support on qualifying costs will be granted to TACs throughout Digi-TAC.
