Overview:
As a Digital Project Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategic visions into tangible results. The role focuses on ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects while upholding excellence in quality, cost management, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in digital project management, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire agile teams towards self-management, driving motivation and collaboration to achieve organisational goals.
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. Mentor product owners in creating and maintaining product backlogs.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and apply proactive strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Establish and uphold project governance frameworks and best practices to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Evaluate project feasibility, constraints, dependencies, and success criteria against time, budget, and workload.
- Assist in preparing key documents, including pitch decks, RFPs, RFQs, SOW, project timelines, and training materials.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align with organisational and project objectives.
- Implement reporting metrics, tools, and dashboards to deliver clear visibility and actionable insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Fostering a culture of ownership, transparency, and integrity, nurturing trust and accountability within the team.
Requirements:
- Over 8 years of hands-on experience in digital and web project management, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the digital project lifecycle, with a proven track record from project initiation through successful delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital landscape and proficiency with various web technologies, including practical experience with WordPress, and other popular CMS platforms.
- Relevant certifications in Project/Agile/Scrum (eg. PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe)
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, with a deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles, and a solid background in implementing these practices effectively.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or JIRA.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively address project challenges and drive successful outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
